The first Outagamie County fair was held in 1885 in Seymour, Wisconsin. It was a place for farmers to showcase their cattle and crops. By the 1960s big-name entertainment was the main draw; Roger Miller and Frank Sinatra performed in front of a packed grandstand.

But ultimately the fair’s mission was and still is to provide a place for the youth of Outagamie County to showcase their skills in raising and showing animals and crops, as well as showing their crafts and products. The fair will be held July 23-28 at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds, 37 N. Main St., Seymour, Wisconsin. Visit or call 920-833-2941 for more information.
