How data and information are used by different levels of the food and agriculture value chain will be the focus of the National Conference for Food and Agribusiness. Results from a recent survey on how each stage of the value chain is evolving in data collection and utilization also will be featured.
Food and agriculture companies are turning to data analytics for a strategic advantage as compared to their competitors, said Brady Brewer, assistant professor of agricultural economics at Purdue University. Brewer and colleagues conducted the survey and will be presenting their findings at the conference.
The National Conference for Food and Agribusiness will be held Nov. 6-7 at the Purdue University Center for Food and Agricultural Business, 403 West State St., West Lafayette, Indiana. Visit agribusiness.purdue.edu or contact email@example.com or 765-496-3385 for more information.
