MADISON, Wis. – Farmers are being squeezed from both ends … the result of consolidation in the agriculture and food industry. That squeeze was the main subject of two recent events in Madison. Farmers voiced concerns during a food and agriculture competition farmer-media reception, held Dec. 6. The next day, many of those farmers attended an American Antitrust Institute program, hosted by the University of Wisconsin Law School.
