Tekamah’s DC Chapter of PEO is looking for women it can help.
Specifically, the chapter is looking for women who have interrupted their education for at least two years and can complete their educational program in two years.
Chapter officials said grants of up to $3,000 are available to women meeting the criteria who want to continue their education but need a little help with tuition and books.
Interested parties can contact the club’s corresponding secretary, Lisa Skinner, at 402-456-7390 or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
PEO is a philanthropic and educational organization that helps women meet their goals. The club met April 8 a Lied Tekamah Public Library and elected a new slate of officers.
