Tiger Pride Sports Boosters will be hosting its annual year end sports banquet on Monday, May 6, at Tekamah City Auditorium.

Dinner served at 6 p.m. followed by the speaker and awards.

The evening’s guest speaker will be Neil Halford. The Fort Calhoun man is one of the premier motivational and inspirational speakers in the industry.

Blinded by a near-fatal accident when he was two years old, Halford persevered, becoming a two-state qualifier at the Nebraska state high school wrestling tournament, winning fourth place as a senior.

As an adult, he achieved great success in the sales industry and published his autobiography, “The Sound of Sight,” in 2005.

Tickets for the event are available at the door.
