Monday morning finds us with another shower. It is a good rain to help with emergence of the wheat and cover crops that were planted in the dust. Presently on our farm we are about 50% harvested. Looks like we have a trade deal, oops no we don’t. How are we supposed to make marketing plans with these scenarios? In my opinion, a bright spot in the market is the basis is improving for all crops. Hopefully, down the road that means better prices. I’m very cautiously optimistic about the frost damage on the milo. Looks like the corn and beans are OK. Have a safe and blessed week.
