We got 2.4 inches of rain this week, the most at one time since early June. It had been really dry around here before that rain came. We finished our corn and full-crop beans this past week. Some double-crop beans are almost ready to harvest. Most of our neighbors are getting their corn out, and some beans are coming out too. We finished sowing our wheat this past week also; it is always nice to see the green rows of wheat as they begin coming up. The rain will sure help with that.
