Spicy Brisket

5 lbs. brisket, trimmed

2 C. Pace picante sauce

1/2 C. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 C. brown sugar, packed

1 tsp. black pepper (or to taste)

1 T. garlic powder

Season brisket with black pepper and garlic powder. Mix together the other ingredients and pour over the brisket. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, covered, at 300° for 4 1/2 hours or until fork tender. Can double recipe.
