2 ham steaks, cubed

1 large onion, chopped

1 tsp. minced garlic

1 stick of butter

Cook cubed ham, chopped onions and garlic in butter. Add the following ingredients:

1 can chili and/or kidney beans

1 can sliced water chestnuts

1 can green beans

1 bottle of chili sauce

1 qt. of whole tomatoes

2 sliced hot peppers

Season with salt, black pepper, parsley, oregano, basil and whatever you like. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over cooked rice. Top with grated cheese if you like and have extra hot sauce available.
