8 C. sliced peaches

1⁄3 C. sugar

1/2 C. flour

1/2 tsp. lemon juice

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

For topping:

1 C. old-fashioned oats

3/4 C. brown sugar

3/4 C. flour

1/2 C. butter

1 C. chopped nuts

Scatter lemon juice over peaches. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon, stir into peaches and let sit for 15 minutes. Place in 9x9-inch oven-proof dish. For topping, mix oatmeal, brown sugar and flour. Cut butter into marble-size chunks, and rub into flour mixture with fingers until butter is mixed in well. Add nuts and cover peaches. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes, until bubbling.
