We have been busy with pumpkins. We hauled nine loads in the last 15 days, the most ever. We wrapped up the CSA, and the vegetables are pretty much done. This week we'll shift to harvesting soybeans. I am hearing of higher-than-expected yields in the area. I heard of one farm that did not get timely rains with soybean yields in the 45-60 bu./acre range and another that did get timely rains with soybeans yields of over 75 bu./acre.
