We are out chopping silage today (Aug. 23), and it looks pretty decent. Some of the corn is 10 feet tall, and other stalks are 2 feet tall. We had anywhere from three-tenths to 1.5 inches of rain in the area over the weekend. It’s supposed to be very hot this week. A lot of beans are turning, depending on when they were planted. This rain we had probably isn’t going to help them any, but it will with beans planted later.
