Apple Butter

24 C. apple pulp (“I use unspoiled apples and blend.”)

2 C. brown sugar (“Or I use coconut palm sugar with molasses — 2 C.

coconut palm and 4 T. molasses.”)

2-3 cinnamon sticks

1 T. cloves or as desired

Combine ingredients, pour into a roasting pan, cover and bake at 325° for five to six hours or until thick, stirring every hour or so. If using crockpot, cook until desired consistency on high temperature.

Cook’s tip: “I partially uncover the roaster pan after the first few hours to help thicken the mixture.”
