3/4 C. butter

1 1/2 C. sugar

2 large very ripe bananas

2 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

2 C. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

3/4 C. buttermilk

Cream together butter and sugar. Add bananas, eggs and vanilla and beat until thoroughly mixed. Add dry ingredients and finish by adding buttermilk.

Spray baking dishes with non-stick spray. Bake at 350° for 1½ hours. Check with toothpick for doneness. Makes three small loaves or two large.
