Corn bounced back Tuesday on some optimism about China. “There are rumors that China may be asking for U.S. corn and DDG prices for import,” Steve Freed, VP of Grain Research for ADM Investor Services, said. “This is not new but some also feel that if there is a deal it could include U.S. corn, DFG, ethanol and pork.”

Progress on U.S.-China trade talks provided some support for commodities and the stock market. “The headline that U.S. and China may be making progress on a new trade deal could also be helping U.S. equities and commodity prices,” Freed said.
