  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • ¾ cup water
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion


  • Combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, pepper and beef, mixing well. Shape into two patties and dredge in 2 tbsp of flour.
  • Coat a small skillet with 2 tbsp oil, and brown the patties. Add the rest of the flour and another tablespoon of oil to the skillet.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the water, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour sauce into skillet.
