1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

3 bananas, mashed

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons sour milk (add 1/4 teaspoon vinegar to milk)

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

Cream together butter and sugar. Add mashed bananas and eggs; beat well. Add baking soda to the sour milk, stir good then add that mix to the creamed mixture. Mix in the flour and salt. Lightly spray two small bread pans, add mixture and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Note: Nuts can be added – my Mom would do one loaf with nuts and one without to make everyone happy.
