1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup margarine

1 cup oil

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 teaspoon coconut flavoring or use

3 teaspoons vanilla

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 cup coconut

1 cup oatmeal

3-1/2 cups flour

1 cup Rice Krispies

1 cup chocolate chips

Mix in usual way. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet, press down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Yields 6 dozen.
