The Linder Farm Network will sponsor the Thursday and Friday morning educational seminars. Leah R. Gilbert of Pluto Legal, PLLC, is the featured speaker during the Thursday 10 a.m. seminar. Gilbert will discuss “Farm & Business Succession Planning.” Be there with questions as this is an in-depth discussion.
Friday morning’s 10 a.m. seminar will feature Jerry Johnson, chairman and CEO of Aglytix, Mankato, Minn., and David Rohlik, AMS Specialist Ag Power Enterprises, Owatonna, Minn. The seminar topic is entitled, “Agricultural Technology – What’s the Latest?” Hear about the newest in big data/smarter machines and auto-steer, automatic shut-off’s, automatic turn around systems and the latest combine systems.
America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, improves lives in rural communities through farmer directed donations. One winner is selected in each of the 1,324 eligible counties across 40 states. Presentations to several organizations will take place Friday, March 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Grain Bin Safety Demonstration: SASCS, LLC. (Safety and Security Consultation Specialists, LLC, of Minnesota Lake, Minn.) on Friday, March 18 will present three grain bin safety demos at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The SE Farm Bureaus sponsored demos will take place outside the show floors in the south parking area.
The University of Minnesota Extension Service will handle the production of Thursday and Friday afternoon seminars. The main topic for Thursday afternoon’s 1 p.m. session will focus on “Buffer Law Updates.” Friday’s 12 noon meeting will feature “Current Issues in Manure Management” sponsored by Minnesota Association of County Feedlot Officers. Attendance at this program will meet the education requirements for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Commercial Waste Technician Licensing Program.
Minnesota FFA Foundation Silent Auction will be held throughout the three days: (bidding will be open till 3 p.m. Saturday). Bid on items provided by exhibitors with all funds going to support the Minnesota FFA Foundation Scholarship programs!
Two grand prize attendee drawings will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Ag Power Enterprises, Inc. will furnish a 19 hp John Deere D110 Lawn Tractor while Miners Outdoor & Rec. will furnish a Husqvarna 455 Rancher 18" Chain Saw Bundle. All attending the farm show are encouraged to sign up!

There is no admission charge, plus there is free parking on the grounds! Shows hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
