July 18, 2022: Rain after a hot week

A hot week this past week ended with some positive rainfall in much of the area. It brought a lot of relief to stressed crop fields and thirsty pastures. Corn is setting ears, and beans are blooming and setting a few pods. Double-crop beans are emerged and forming trifoliate. Another very hot week ahead! Hopefully we can continue to hang on.
