Oct. 4, 2021: Soybean quality an issue

Spotty rainfall throughout the week slowed harvest in some areas. Quite a few farmers are wrapping up corn and moving to soybeans. Soybean quality right now seems to be an issue, with fields cutting dry but still containing quite a bit of green beans and pods. The week ahead with sunshine and relatively warm temperatures should help with soybean maturation and moving harvest forward.
