Sept. 20, 2021: Harvest 'a full go'

  • Updated

Harvest is a full go in the area. No beans are quite ready yet, but lots of corn is being shelled. Some light rains in the middle of the week slowed down harvest, but was welcome for some of the corn that was already down to around 12% moisture. Much of the yield results are extremely various in the area. Top dressing, fungicide and planting conditions this spring are playing a large role in the variation.
