For best results, bring a fresh cut (not frozen) steak to room temperature before cooking. Look for a steak with a lot of marble from 1 to 3 inches thick.

Heat the grill to a high temperature.

Put the steak on the hot grill and cook around 5 minutes. Turn over only once. Brush with butter and sprinkle with spices of your choice. Cook until desired doneness.
