MADISON, Wis. – Miss Apple Snapple-Red-ET, owned by MilkSource Genetics of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, earned 2016 World Dairy Expo International Futurity Champion. She was awarded a $1,000 Grand Champion cash award sponsored by Trans Ova Genetics. Snapple also earned first place in the Red and White 2016 World Dairy Expo International Futurity, and placed second in her class of Junior Three-Year-Old cows.

The second-annual Calumet County CP Feeds Futurity had 600 attendees at the 2016 Calumet County Fair in the Harder-Goeldi building, to observe the “Futurity” held Sept. 4. Seventeen Holsteins and one Brown Swiss paraded in front of Judge Ryan Krohlow of Poynette, Wisconsin. More than $5,000 was paid in prize monies to the exhibitors at the 2016 Futurity.

JUNEAU, Wis. — The annual Dodge County Holstein Futurity was held Aug. 20 during the Dodge County Fair. First place, best bred and owned, and best udder was awarded to Rynearson Rainy Razzy-Red, owned by Don Rynearson, and led by Kate Smith of Smith Crest Holsteins of Watertown, Wisconsin. The judge was Jeff Brantmeier of Sherwood, Wis.
