 RICHARDTON, N.D. - Bales of hay are trucking down western roads, brought in by the angels in blue from Farm Rescue. There’s not many hay bales in storage at the ranches in western North Dakota to feed the cowherd this winter, and not many bales on the hay fields, waiting to be picked up.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, will get out in the fields of western North Dakota during her two-day tour across the region during which she will speak with farmers and ranchers about how the drought is impacting them and discuss her efforts to address many of their concerns.
