ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR

BOONE COUNTY
PUBLIC DEFENDER

The Boone County Board of Commissioners is accepting
applications for the Boone County Public Defender position.
This is an appointed position.
Requirements are: graduation from an accredited law school,
practicing attorney for at least two years, shall have past
training or experience in criminal law and admission to the
Nebraska State Bar Association.
The appointed Public Defender position will be a contract
agreement between the County of Boone and a licensed
attorney for the years 2022 and 2023.

All applicants must be able
to speak, read and understand
the English language.
Applicants must be able to
legally work in the United States.
Applications may be obtained
from the Boone County Clerk’s
office.
Applicants are to return the
Application with a resume to the Boone
County Clerk, 222 South 4th Street,
Albion, NE 68620-1247.
Application deadline is 4:00 P.M.
on Friday, December 3, 2021.
