1 pound ground beef
1/2 medium cabbage, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can kidney beans, undrained
Chopped onion, to taste
1 - 28 oz can tomatoes, chopped
1/2 to 1 can water (use tomato can to measure)
4 beef bouillon cubes
2 celery stalks, chopped bite size (optional)
4 carrots, sliced
In a large pot, brown beef and drain. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 1 hour.
Optional: Top with fresh chopped parsley, (I use dried) and some shredded cheddar cheese. Makes fairly large pot of good soup!
