The 10th Annual Ag Women’s Day is set for Tuesday, June 4 in Brookings, South Dakota.

The event hosted by the local Farm Service Agency will be held at the First Lutheran Church Activity Center at North Main Avenue and Eighth Street. All women involved in agriculture are invited to attend.

New this year is the “ultimate pajama party,” for which attendees are asked to bring a new pair of pajamas (any size from newborn to adult) to be donated to the Domestic Abuse Shelter in Brookings.

Three speakers will address the crowd throughout the day, and two break-out sessions will allow attendees to choose from different topics.

The main speakers are comedian David Ferrell on “Positive Impressions – Imitating Those Who Matter,” V.J. Smith on “Grateful Ways; Amazing Days,” and humorist Renee Rongen on “Lipstick, Laughter and Life.”

FSA staff will also provide updates on farm programs.

Breakout session topics include money goals, agricultural marketing, buying diamonds, the winery business, chair yoga and tech tips.

Space is limited. Registration forms should be returned by May 20. For more information or to request a form, contact Gail Gullickson at the Brookings County FSA office at 605- 692-8003, extension 2 or email gail.gullickson@usda.gov.
