Dairy barns at South Dakota State College in Brookings were built in 1905 where the H. M. Briggs Library now stands. 

This Dairy Month, we look back on the early days of dairy on the South Dakota State campus in Brookings with this photo from the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum archives. These barns, built in 1905 were located where the H. M. Briggs Library now stands. The library was built 1976-77.
