Travis Tritt will perform at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls to kick off the Central Plains Dairy Expo March 26.

Travis Tritt, one of the top selling country artists in the U.S., will perform a concert at the Central Plains Dairy Expo welcome reception Tuesday, March 26.

Tritt has won two Grammys, three Country Music Association awards and sold more than 30 million albums.

Doors to the Denny Sanford Premier Center open at 5:30 p.m. The South Dakota Dairy Princess will be crowned on stage at about 6:30 p.m., award winners from the region will be recognized at 6:45 p.m., and the Central Plains Dairy Foundation will hold its live auction at 7 p.m.

Music will begin at 7:45 p.m.

Tickets to the welcome reception and concert are free for dairy producers, calf and heifer growers, dairy-beef feedlot operators and forage growers, their families, their employees and their employees’ families.

Attendees must register and have name badges. Pre-registration is available online at On site registration will be available.

Hot and cold appetizers will be served at the reception. The South Dakota State University Dairy Lab and Stensland Dairy of Larchwood, Iowa, will be serving ice cream. Bedaf Dairy of Carrington, North Dakota, will serve gelato.
