South Dakota FFA members shine in Career Development Events

FFA members are preparing for careers and learning the role agriculture plays in feeding and clothing the world. They were able to show what they've learned by competing in 15 state-level events.

Results of the Career Development Events were announced at the state convention April 13 in Rapid City. Winners go on to the national convention this fall.

Agricultural Business Management

  • 1st Place Team: Willow Lake; Advisor Dan Tonak, team members: Grace Peterson, Trinity Peterson, Gwyneth Warkenthien, & Morgan Burke
  • Top Individual: Telson Cowan, Highmore

Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems
