This was another hot and humid week in Southeast Missouri. Irrigation is the main priority for most farmers. Some producers are applying fungicide and fertilizer on corn. Soybeans have really started to take in this weather and are growing with every watering cycle. More peaches and watermelons are being picked in the lower part of the Bootheel. The dryland crops are having a really tough time in this heat.
